porter's eponymous 'tanker' series has used an original fabric developed after the motif of the us air force 'ma-1' flight jacket since its introduction in 1983. the three-layer fabric of nylon twill, polyester cotton and nylon taffeta is very lightweight and impresses with the soft feel of the binding material and the bright rescue orange inside.
