Anuschka bags are designed in USA by Bhaskar Basu. Bhaskar was taught by his mother, Roma, who continues to guide him today. They are then made in the family owned and operated workshop in India. Every Anuschka accessory starts with hand cutting the top grain leather and selecting the best pieces. Anuschka-trained artisans sketch and individually hand paint every piece. Traditional crafters who have learned the trade from generations before them use old school techniques to create tailor made pieces. Every piece goes through multiple stages of inspection by our quality team to ensure that the art is perfect. A family member does a final review of every bag before it is hand signed and packed.
